After a little food-triggering conversation, Norm and Paige continue through a few of the more interesting dance team names (and school mascots, too) across Illinois -- this time zeroing in on that fun E through H zone! We've got Flaming Hearts, Cogs, and Fighting Owls. And then there's the flag team name with what sounds like a poms name, and then the persistence of the ancient "pom poNs" term. Along the way we take some sideways steps--communities where you'd think there'd be a competitive dance team but there isn't; combined cheer and dance programs; multi-school co-op athletics, and Norm's quest to get his alma mater to revert back to their old poms team name.
